Clinical Skills Competition Winners!
***Winners of the 2009 Preliminary Round Clinical Skills Competition***
Each year, CSHP organizes the local clinical skills competition in which UCSF student pharmacists participate to achieve the following goals:
1) Foster the development of clinical practice skills;
2) Reinforce the pharmacist's responsibility for optimal drug therapy outcomes;
3) Facilitate the effective use of a systematic approach to clinical problem-solving; and
4) Enhance written and oral communication skills.
6 teams participated this year to compete in this case-based competition and all did very well. CSHP is proud to announce the 2009 CSC winners.
Congratulations...Glendale Geluz and Marie Yu!
They will be advancing and representing UCSF at the state and national level at CSHP Seminar and ASHP Midyear. GOOD LUCK!
