The mission of CSHP is to promote pharmacists as integral members of the health care team, to advance rational and patient-oriented drug therapy, to serve as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice and improving the quality of patient care, and to advocate the pharmacist's value to patients by ensuring the appropriate clinical services and use of medication. As a student chapter at UCSF, we provide opportunites for students to become knowledgeable about various pharmacy practices and career directions through our expanded programs, to serve the community through various student-run projects, and to network opportunites through our relationship with GGSHP and attendance at state and national conferences.
